Members can learn to spot went to pass the mic.
Community and event managers can get better at seeking diversity and real voices that make a difference.
This does not just apply to speaking, it applies to anyone and everyone you invite for anything within community.

BRAVO! I totally concur, I have to be honest when at the start of my career in this weird and wonderful world of community , I accepted any change to talk anywhere. On reflection and overtime I have come to realise that I needed to put my ego aside and it is less about me ‘being’ the voice of the community and more about facilitating the community to find its own voice.
